If you operate a private strip, this is the pilot-controlled lighting system I’d buy again.
What sold me wasn’t just the lights. It’s the person on the other end of the phone. When I had questions during install and later on setup, I got a real human — the owner — and he stayed on the line as long as it took. No ticket queue, no script. He walked me through the issue until it was solved, and he’s done that more than once. That kind of support is rare, and it matters when the system has to work the next time you come in after dark.
The design itself is thoughtful. The flashing isn’t just a “lights are on” cue for the pilot in the cockpit. It alerts people on and around the runway that the field is active, which is exactly what you want on a private or lightly used strip where someone might be walking, driving, or working near the pavement. Simple idea, well executed.
I also like that home base watches the system remotely and flags health issues before they become a surprise on a night arrival. You’re not guessing whether a circuit or a light is going soft. Someone who actually knows the product is looking at it and will tell you.
It’s designed and built in the USA, and the quality shows in both the hardware and the support behind it. For a system you depend on when the sun is down, that combination — solid product, remote monitoring, and an owner who picks up the phone — is hard to beat.
