We’ve had the PCL-854 lighting controller installed at our small local airport for almost 2 ½ years now, and frankly, we’re thrilled with it.
Ours was one of the first deployments of the system, and Mike was on-hand to see if we could self-install with the instructions provided. Although we’re not the brightest bulbs in the box, the quality of the installation materials was such that we had the system installed, mounted, and up and running in less than 2 hours.
The system has worked great, and our power usage and bulb replacement intervals have both improved as a result.
Support for the system has been excellent, and any questions we’ve had have been answered quickly.
We love the remote monitoring capability and the flexibility to add new features through software upgrades.

We installed the PCL in a multi-intensity constant-current system that has runway, taxiway and PAPI lights. We had some issues at the beginning that were all addressed and taken care of by the outstanding customer service from Mike. He even added some features suggested by us.
It has worked flawlessly for the past several months, increasing the availability of the airport when the tower is closed and at night.
